| 1. | How do I Upgrade my 2009 league to a new 2010 league?
Answer: Go to your league and log in as commissioner. Once logged in go to your home page where a message should appear with a link to upgrade your league to 2010. Follow these instructions and you will create your 2010 league.
Note: Once you upgrade to 2010 you should not use your 2009 league for transactions, but instead use only as a historical reference.

| 2. | What information gets transferred over when I upgrade my 2009 league to 2010?
Answer: In general, things that are specific to a season do not get carried over, and things that might be common across all seasons for a league do get carried over. To give specific examples of things that are not carried over from season-to-season:
• Message board posts. If you'd like to carry over a message board post from year to year, you'll need to copy/paste the post from your 2009 league message board into your 2010 league message board.
• Accounting balances. If your league allows owners to carry over accounting balances from year to year, you'll need to use the "Edit Accounting Records" page on your 2010 league to manually give franchises the appropriate start of the season debits/credits.
• Polls, articles, standings, transactions.
To give specific examples of things that are carried over from season-to-season:
• All league rules, including league scoring rules.
• All league calendar events. The system attempts to automatically adjust dates for all calendar events for the new year, but you must review your 2010 league calendar to make sure it is correct for the new year.
• All franchise names and other franchise information entered on the franchise setup pages.
• League appearance/colors/skins/fonts/etc.
• League rosters (however, these require an extra step and for keeper/dynasty leagues via the Transfer Rosters screen). Also see the Keeper/Dynasty League How To page for additional, related information.

| 3. | What can you tell me about 2010 leagues on MyFantasyLeague.com?
Answer: Q1: I had a league with you in 2009, but I want to test some possible scoring system changes for 2010 - what's the best way to do this now?
A1: We strongly suggest that you do not make this substantial of a change to your completed 2007 league - instead, just set up a new 2007 league now and test out whatever league scoring system changes you'd like.
Q2: I wasn't a customer in 2009 - can I get started now?
A2: Yes, definitely - just set up a new 2007 league now. Once we start offering 2010 leagues shortly after the Super Bowl, you'll be able to quickly and easily upgrade your 2009 league to 2010.
Q3: How Much Will 2010 Leagues Cost? Will There Be Any Specials/Discounts/Repeat Customer Deals/Early Bird Deals/etc. in 2010?
A3: You can view our Purchasing Page for full details on all our 2009 pricing along with all our Discounts & Specials. You can expect our 2010 pricing and special to be similar (but not necessarily identical) to our 2009 pricing.
Q4: How long will I be able to access my 2009 league for?
A4: Your 2009 league will remain on-line indefinitely. For example, we still have all 1998 through 2008 customer leagues on-line and accessible. You're free to access your 2009 league at any time you'd like, both for viewing historical reporting, as well as for any off-season transactions you might do, if your league is a dynasty/keeper league.
Q5: What new features/options are in store for 2010? When will I be able to see the new features?
A5: We've got a lot of enhancements planned before kickoff of the 2010 season. Many of the things on our list are from customer suggestions that come in via our support ticketing system - feel free to submit your own ideas/suggestions. As we have in the past, new features will be released in a "piece-meal" fashion - meaning, we release functionality as it becomes available, not all at once. All enhancements will apply to all seasons on the site - in other words, any enhancement we offer will be viewable on your 2009 league, as well as any past or future league you might have with us. Finally, we don't pre-announce any new features (for competitive reasons, in case of any last-minute bugs, or priority changes), so we won't be able to answer any question you have for us along the lines of "will feature xyz be available in 2010?"

| 4. | Can I enter my league history from a prior season that I ran on another league management site into MyFantasyLeague.com?
Answer: Yes, definitely. To do this, start by setting up a league as you normally would. To set up league corresponding to one of the following seasons, click on a link below:
Once you've completed the basic league setup, you'll need to use do the following steps, in order:
- From the historic league, use the "For Commissioners > Setup > Adjust Scores and Standings > Franchise Score Adjuster" option to manually assign the correct scores for to the correct franchises for each week of the season.
- If your league is a head-to-head league, use the "For Commissioners > Setup > Fantasy Schedule Setup > Weekly Schedule Setup" option to re-create the fantasy schedule for that season.
- Use the "For Commissioners > Recalculate Standings" option, which should update your league standings report so it shows accurate standings.
- Then (and only then, after your historical season standings are correct), go to your current season league, and using the "For Commissioners > Setup > League History Setup > General League History Setup" page, and enter your historical league home page URLs.
- Wait up to 24 hours, and the system will automatically import your historical league results and franchises into your current season's records reports.

| 5. | How do I set up a league on MyFantasyLeague.com?
Answer: While there are countless ways to define a fantasy league using MyFantasyLeague.com, there are a number of basic steps that all new commissioners should take. The following should be used as a guideline to help you to define much of your league's setup in a short amount of time.
1. Define the initial 2009 league parameters using the For Commissioners > Setup > General League Setup
screen.
At a minimum, you'll need to define a league name, league email, password, and the number of franchises and roster spots for your league. If you plan on holding an online draft, be sure to select this (final) option. Go to our Draft How To
to determine which type of draft is right for your league.
Once you click on the Save League Setup button, the system will generate a new league for you. There's absolutely no purchase obligation for setting up a league.
NOTE: Upon completion of this step, you will be taken back to your home page. The "League Setup - Next Steps" message will appear only for the commissioner account. At the top It will include your 5-digit league ID which corresponds to the last 5 characters of your home page web address (URL). Please use this number with all correspondence to MyFantasyLeague.com support.
2. Define your franchise (team) information using the For Owners > Franchise Setup
menu item.
The first time you access this (or any other setup menu item), you will be prompted for your league password. Use the password you had defined in the General League Setup above (in step #1).
At a minimum it's a good idea to define the email addresses for all the owners in your league as soon as you can. If you don't have all the addresses now, this isn't a problem as you can always come back to this screen in the future. You might also want to define a team name for each franchise. Notice that each team will already have a system-generated password defined. You can either keep these initial random passwords or overwrite them with new passwords. Click on the Save Franchise Setup button to store all your changes.
3. Define your league's scoring rules using the For Commissioners > Setup > Scoring Setup screens.
There are a variety of ways to accomplish this task as detailed in the Scoring Setup How To
topic.
4. Define your league's fantasy schedule using the For Commissioners > Fantasy Schedule Setup screens.
Either choose a canned, system schedule from Select A Packaged Schedule
, manually define a schedule one week at a time via Weekly Schedule Setup
, re-order the weeks in an existing schedule with the Randomize Fantasy Schedule
, or swap two weeks of an existing schedule via the Switch Schedule Weeks
screen.
5. Define your league's starting lineups using the For Commissioners > Setup > Transactions Setup > Weekly Lineup Setup screen.
6. Define your league's waivers (player adds & drops) using the For Commissioners > Setup > League Calendar Setup screen.
7. Additional Setup using the many For Commissioners > Setup > Appearance Setup screens.
At this point your league is fully defined and ready to use. However, we've spent a lot of time to give you some extra bells and whistles. The majority of items used to customize the appearance of your menu are found in the Appearance Setup screens. Go to our overview on home page setup

8. Invite franchise owners to your league.
Finally, use the For Commissioners > Setup > Invite Franchise Owners screen to invite owners to your newly-created league. At this point, you can simply allow all the owners go continue their team setup individually.

| 7. | How do I Setup a Deluxe League?
Answer: First, determine if you need a deluxe league. If you truly need multiple player pools AND these player pools are separated by conference or division, the the answer is yes. Otherwise, you do not need a deluxe league.
To setup a deluxe league, go to the For Commissioner > Setup > General League Setup screen and specify "Each player can be on xx rosters per *CONFERENCE* (or) *DIVISION*. Note that once you've purchased your league, this setting can only be changed by MyFantasyLeague.com sales support. Please use our MFL Support Form and choose the "Sales/Ordering" category.

Answer: Commissioner: To change your email address go to the For Commissioner > Setup > General League Setup and you can define your new email address here. Be sure to click Save League Setup when complete.
Owners: To change your email address go to the For Owners > Franchise Setup and you can change your email address here. Be sure to click Save Franchise Setup when complete.

| 9. | How do I Change the Commissioner for our league?
Answer: Once your league has been upgraded to a new 2007 league, have your old commissioner change the league password (using the For Commissioners > Setup > General League Setup screen) to something temporary for you. Now you can log in as the commissioner with this temporary password and change it to something unique and secure. You should also change the commissioner email address to your email address on the "General League Setup" page.
Finally, make sure the correct franchise is selected on the For Commissioners > Setup > Select Commissioner's Franchise page.

Answer: We pride ourselves on having what we think is not only the most customizable on-line fantasy football league management service on the web, but also the most "open", too. What that "open-ness" means to you, if you're someone with some computer programming and/or web design skills, is that you can extend and customize your MyFantasyLeague.com league a great deal.
Advanced customization options include:

Writing custom CSS to completely control all aspects of your league appearance
CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is the industry-standard way of controlling all appearance-related items on web pages. MyFantasyLeague.com uses CSS to control league page appearance (including our skins), and also allows our customers to write their own CSS to completely control any/all page appearance options that you'd like to.
If you'd like to learn more about CSS, you might want to consider some on-line CSS tutorials, or visit your local or on-line bookstore for books on CSS - Eric Meyer seems to write especially good books on this topic.
Once you've learned CSS, next you'll have to learn a bit about the classes and IDs we use on the site. You can do that by setting up a free trial league on our site, and then doing a "View Source" to see our current CSS files, including the CSS files used for each of our skins, to get a better idea of how to write CSS for your MyFantasyLeague.com league pages.
Alternatively, here is another approach that might be easier, allowing you to see exactly what classes and IDs we use on your league pages:

| 4. | From the custom toolbar that gets installed, choose the "Information > Display ID And Class Details" option, and you can see exactly what IDs and classes are used on any/all pages on the site. |
| 5. | Where this gets really cool is that you can edit the CSS right on the page, allowing you to immediately see the effects of your CSS changes right away. It will take a bit of time to play around with the web developer extension and learn about all of it's features and options, but this time will be very well spent if you're interested in really taking your design to the next level. |
Finally, once you've written your custom CSS, you can go to the For Commissioners > Setup > Appearance Setup > Images & Other URLs page and upload your custom CSS to our site (or, simply enter the URL for the CSS file on your own server).
Getting access to "raw" MyFantasyLeague.com league data in industry-standard XML format
If you're a computer programmer, we offer the MyFantasyLeague.com Developer's Program
whereby you can easily get access to raw MyFantasyLeague.com data in XML format. This will allow you to quickly and easily get that data into whatever programming environment you're most comfortable, be it PHP, ASP, Excel, Java, Perl, or any other programming language that's capable of reading XML files. Embedding league home page modules in other web pages
All home page modules are "embeddable" - meaning, you can place "live" MyFantasyLeague.com content inside web pages on another web site, your "My Google" customized home page, or inside arbitrary HTML on your MyFantasyLeague.com-hosted pages.
