| 3. | My Scoring Results Appear Incorrect. What Could be the Problem? Answer: There are several things that could lead to an incorrect score for a player. The single most common is that your scoring system is set up incorrectly. To that end, the first thing that you should do is double-check your League Scoring Rules report to ensure that is set up correctly by clicking on the Test link for each rule category. If that looks correct, and you'd like some additional help in tracking down the source of this problem, please send us the following information via our online support form:
1. The franchise that the player is on
2. The name of the player/team in question.
3. The week of the NFL season in question.
4. Next, go into the "detailed scoring" or "live scoring" report to see exactly why we are reporting the points for the player.
5. Based on that information, tell us exactly what points you think the player should have been awarded for each event.
If the problem is a discrepancy in raw statistics (i.e., 59 yards rushing versus 60 yards rushing), please double-check the NFL.com Gamebook for the game in question. NO OTHER PAGE ON NFL.COM NOR ANY OTHER SITE SHOULD EVER BE USED TO VERIFY STATS! While even the Gamebooks occasionally has errors, all other NFL.com pages and all other big-name sports sites frequently have errors. If you provide us with all of the above information, we should quickly and easily be able to address the problem for you.
NOTE: You should never use the score adjuster to account for things like incorrect statistics, or incorrectly set up scoring systems - this only masks problems, and does not fix them.

| 4. | How does the system handle scores if a Kicker fakes a play? Answer: The NFL does not have separate statistical categories for fake punts and kicks, so MyFantasyLeague.com does not, either. Instead, a fake play is scored as a regular rushing or passing play. To be sure that your kicker or punter gets awarded for any subsequent passing or rushing TDs that happen on fake plays, you should be sure that your league scoring rules are set up to include things like rushing and passing TDs, rushing and passing yards, etc. for kickers and punters, if appropriate for your league.

| 7. | How do I Enter Blind Bidding Requests? Answer: Enter Blind Bidding Waivers
Non-Conditional Blind Bidding allows owners to enter all players that they wish to bid on in one round. To enter a Bid go to the For Owners > Waivers during your Blind Bidding Event and choose a Player to Add. Now, enter a Dollar amount and then choose a player to drop from your roster if needed to stay within your roster limits. You can continue to add all bid requests in this window and then Save your Bids when complete.
The system will then process these bids and players will be awarded based on the highest bidder.
Submit Conditional Blind Bids
Conditional blind bids are a lot like waiver request waiver moves, in that owners can enter multiple rounds of waiver moves, and prioritize their picks in each round. Each round's worth of requests is looked at, top to bottom, and the first bid that is considered valid is the one that the system will accept, ignoring future bids in that round. Here's a concrete example of how conditional blind bidding works, assuming franchises 1 and 2, and players A through Z, with a season-long blind bidding limit of $10, and no owners having any money spent on blind bidding.
| Franchise |
Round |
Add |
Drop |
Bid |
| 1 |
1 |
A |
Z |
$5 |
| 1 |
1 |
B |
Z |
$8 |
| 1 |
2 |
C |
Y |
$6 |
| 1 |
2 |
D |
Y |
$2 |
| 2 |
1 |
A |
X |
$4 |
| 2 |
2 |
C |
W |
$5 |
Read as English, these bids mean:
- Franchise 1, in round 1, wants to acquire player A for a bid of $5, and drop player Z. If that bid cannot be done, he wants to acquire player B for a bid of $8, and drop player Z. Note that even though the bid for player B is higher than the bid for player A, the bid for player A is listed first, and therefore given higher priority.
- Franchise 1, in round 2, wants to acquired player C for a bid of $6, and drop player Y. If that bid cannot be done, he wants to acquire player D for a bid of $2, and drop player Y.
Franchise 2, in round 1, wants to acquire player A for a bid of $4, and drop player X. Note that this bid does not have a second-ranked bid, so if this bid does not go through, player X will remain on franchise 2's roster.
- Franchise 2, in round 2, wants to acquire player C for a bid of $5, and drop player W. If that bid cannot go through, then he wants to acquire player D for a bid of $1, and drop player W.
On the process waivers page, the system will look at the bids, starting with the highest dollar amount top priority bid, and continue looking at bids until all are processed (either successfully, by doing the add/drop, or unsuccessfully, because the bid is considered invalid), and by default select the bid that it thinks should go through (or "None", if it considers all bids invalid).

| 9. | My player scores are being doubled (or way too high) - why? Answer: Player point totals are doubled (or worse) when league scoring rules are set up incorrectly on the Scoring Rules page. The most common places where this happens include:
1. By having a rule listed under the same position twice. For example, if you have the category "Rules for QB, RB, WR, TE" and award points for rushing yards in that category, and you also have a category "Rules for RB" and award points for rushing yards in that category, the system will use both sets of rules to award points. Make sure that each rule you want to award points for is defined only in one category to avoid this problem.
2. By having an overlap in a given rule. For example, if you have one rule called "Rushing Yards 75-100 2 points", and another rule called "Rushing Yards 100-200 5 points", and the rusher happened to rush for exactly 100 yards, due to the range of the rules both rules would apply. The best way to catch, and fix, problems along these lines is to click on the "Test" link for the corresponding rule on your Scoring Rules page, and reviewing all point totals on that page. When the system detects an overlap like this, it will display a warning to you.
3. Using the "Length of Rushing (or, passing, or receiving, or field goal, etc.) TD" rule, when you meant to use the "Number of Rushing (or passing or receiving, or field goals) TDs" rule. The "Length of..." rules are meant for leagues who award varying points based on the length of the touchdown (or field goal) scored, and this rule gets evaluated for every touchdown (or field goal) awarded. A common mistake customers make is setting up a rule like this: "Length of Field Goal Made 1-99 3 points each" which would award 3 points for each yard of a field goal made - so a 30 yard field goal would be worth 90 points. When in fact, if they want to award 3 points for each made field goal, the correct rule is "Number of Field Goals Made 1-99 3 points each".

| 10. | Why are my league standing not properly sorted? Answer: This is typically caused by one of the following:
1. You've defined a Custom Standings Order for your league. Please go to the Custom Standings Order screen and click on the link to remove the custom sort.
2. Your standings sort criteria are not properly defined in the Standings Setup screen.
3. You have the "Head to Head Record" sort criterion defined too high in your priority list.
The H2H Record sort criterion compares two individual teams at a time. In a four team league, A-D, there would be six H2H Record matchups: AB, AC, AD, BC, BD, and CD. Unfortunately this tie-breaker is less useful when there are three or more teams tied. If teams A, B, & C are all tied and during the season A beat B who beat C who beat A, then they all have a 1-0 record with 'the group', but certainly not with each other specific team. As the season progresses, this is a rather unlikely, but possible, occurrence.
To correct this sorting problem, a league can either move the H2H Record sort to a lower sort criteria (for leagues that have this defined as #2 through #4 - no league should ever use H2H Record as the #1 criteria) or you can use the Standings Adjuster to manually define a sort order for the current week. If you do manually change the sort order, be sure to remember to clear this out one the following weeks games have been calculated.
