| 1. | Why did not my standings not update this week when they have updated all season?
Answer: Most likely this is due to your settings on the Setup > Standings Setup screen. You will need to adjust your option:
"Stop updating league standings report after week:"
and change this to when your playoffs begin or week 17.

| 2. | Why does everyone in my league already have a win or a loss even though the week is not over?
Answer: The For Commissioners > Setup > Standings Setup page has an option on it titled "Update Standings On League Standings Report (and Franchise Scores): As Soon As Preliminary (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) Results Are Available" - you currently have that checkbox checked. If you'd like to not have standings updated as soon as preliminary games are over, you may un-check that checkbox.
However, un-checking that checkbox after week 1 preliminary results are in will not revert standings back to zeros for week 1, so if this has happened to you for week 1, you'll have to hold tight until week 1 results are finalized to see the finalize standings and scores for your league.
Note that in any case, these wins and losses are considered preliminary wins and losses, and will be updated later in the week to reflect final results.

| 3. | Why are there a lot of extra Wins/Losses on my Standings Report and its just the start of the season?
Answer: This most likely has to do with your settings on the For Commissioner > Setup > General League Setup Screen being set to have an All Play League. This would have every team play every other team each week.
You will need to change this back to a H2H league if you wish for single game matchups each week. Then if you have not done so you will need to select a packaged schedule for your league.
Once this is complete, you will need to go to the For Commissioners > Recalculate Standings and do so for each week Starting with Week 1 and in order up until the current week.

| 4. | Why are my league standing not properly sorted?
Answer: This is typically caused by one of the following:
1. You've defined a Custom Standings Order for your league. Please go to the Custom Standings Order screen and click on the link to remove the custom sort.
2. Your standings sort criteria are not properly defined in the Standings Setup screen.
3. You have the "Head to Head Record" sort criterion defined too high in your priority list. You can view the breakdown of your standings on the Reports > Standings > Tiebreakers - Standings.

The H2H Record sort criterion compares two individual teams at a time. In a four team league, A-D, there would be six H2H Record matchups: AB, AC, AD, BC, BD, and CD. Unfortunately this tie-breaker is less useful when there are three or more teams tied. If teams A, B, & C are all tied and during the season A beat B who beat C who beat A, then they all have a 1-0 record with 'the group', but certainly not with each other specific team. As the season progresses, this is a rather unlikely, but possible, occurrence.
To correct this sorting problem, a league can either move the H2H Record sort to a lower sort criteria (for leagues that have this defined as #2 through #4 - no league should ever use H2H Record as the #1 criteria) or you can use the Standings Adjuster to manually define a sort order for the current week. If you do manually change the sort order, be sure to remember to clear this out one the following weeks games have been calculated.

| 5. | How do I set up victory points for my League?
Answer: Victory Points are optional points used primarily to minimize the luck factor in fantasy football.
Victory Points for your league can be defined in the For Commissioner > Setup > Victory Points Setup. Here you can award VPs based on Wins or on Points for your league.
The first option is for wins, ties and losses for each franchise. Generally each fantasy win is worth 2 VPs, tie worth 1 VP, and lost worth 0 VPs
There is also an option to award VP's based on overall fantasy scores each week. These VP's by default will be in a 3 Bucket system where the top, middle, and bottom third are also (by default) awarded 2, 1, and 0 VPs. Commissioners can, however, use this screen to change the value of victory points for your league or choose to award the Top and Bottom Half overall fantasy scores each week by changing the "Number of Buckets for Victory Point Weekly Total" to 2. Then you can define the points awarded for the top scoring half and the bottom half.
NOTE: In the case of a tie crossing a tier boundary, the two tied teams both receive the higher point value.

Answer: To create a custom column go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Standings Setup and define a name for a Custom Column. You will then need to go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Standings Column Setup to add this to your Current List of Columns to appear on your Standings Report.
All Custom Columns must be manually tracked and can be done through the For Commissioner > Setup > Adjust Scores and Standings > {Custom Name} Adjuster.

Answer: To see the preliminary results in your standings you will need to go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Standings Setup screen and check the box to "Update Standings On League Standings Report (and Franchise Scores): As Soon As Preliminary (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) Results Are Available." Note that these games will then update again once final results are complete.
Also, changing this option after preliminary results are issued will not impact the current week, only future weeks. To see these results for the currently underway week, doing a "For Commissioners > Recalculate Standings" will bring your scores and standings up-to-date.

Answer: When the number of teams is not evenly divisible by three, the middle tier will have the greatest number of teams and the top and bottom tiers will be evenly distributed. Use this table to see how victory points tiers are defined for some of the more common sizes of leagues.

Answer: Since a tie is equal to half of a win and a half of a loss, the 7-2-2 record is exactly the same as an 8-3 record - both are an overall winning percentage of 0.727.

Answer: This report (sorted by the power rank) contains the following information for each franchise:
- PF - Points For, total points scored year-to-date.
- PP - Potential Points, total points a franchise could have scored if it had started a perfect lineup each week.
- Eff - Efficiency rating, or PF divided by PP, expressed as a percentage.
- Bench Points - Total points scored by all bench players.
- Max PF - Maximum points scored in one week.
- Min PF - Minimum points scored in one week.
- Coulda Won - For each week of the season, compare your "potential points" versus your opponents actual points - you will get one in this column for each game that you could have won a by starting a better lineup. In other words, if you had started your best lineup each week, this is the number of extra wins you could have received throughout the season.
- Woulda Lost - For each week of the season, compare your actual points versus your opponents "potential points" - you will get one in this column for each game that you would have lost if your opponent had started a better lineup. In other words, if your opponent had started his best lineup each week, this is the number of extra losses you would have received throughout the season.
- All-play Record - The number of wins, losses, and ties the franchise would have if it played all teams each week of the season.
- Power Rank - A formula designed to give an alternate view of the 'best' franchise in the league. This number is arrived at like this:
points_per_week_per_starter = A
points_per_week_per_nonstarter = B
all_play_wins_per_week = C
actual_wins = D
division_wins = E
Power Rank = A+B+C+D+E
Power Rank As Of Week - Click on any of the links for previous week in the season to view this report for any past week.
Use the default Power Ranking score for each franchise as the sort criterion for this report or switch to one of the optional "All Play-Record", "Coulda Won", or "Woulda Lost" columns for alternately sorted report views.

Create New Custom Adjustments. Use this table to define any new adjustments to the Custom column (as defined in the Standings Setup screen) for your standings for any fantasy team & week as follows:

Answer: These options control the appearance & data for the league Standings report.
Update Scores & Standings on the League Standings Report -
As Soon As Preliminary (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) Results Are Available. Select this option to have preliminary scores calculated shortly after the end of each preliminary day as mentioned above. Note that live player and team scores will still be calculated during the games.
NOTE: If this option is checked, the system will award preliminary wins and losses for franchises based on early weekly results after each game day has ended. These preliminary wins and losses will be updated accordingly as subsequent game days - including the final (MNF) game and results - are completed.
Name of Custom Column X to be Added - Define a value in any of these five text boxes to display up to five custom columns on your Standings
report. These custom columns are useful for leagues that track unique franchise-specific information that the site cannot automatically track for you. Once you've defined the name of a custom column, you can then use the [Custom Column] Standings Adjuster screen (found in For Commissioners > Setup > Adjust Scores and Standings) to populate the data for this column for each franchise each week.
Standings Legend - Use this to set up a "legend" for your standings report. A typical legend might be set up something like this: X = Clinched playoff spot, Y = Clinched Division, Z = Clinched Conference. The standings icons X, Y, and Z can be set up on the Icons Setup
page.
Standings Sort Criteria - Define the order of the sort criteria to be used in calculating the weekly standings.
Overall Winning Percentage. This is the most common primary sort criteria that uses wins & losses.
Head-to-Head Record. This cannot be used as a primary sort criteria as it only compares the H2H matchups of two teams individually.
Total Points Scored. For Total Points (non Head-to-Head) leagues, this selection sorts by year-to-date fantasy points.
Reverse Order of Opponents Total Points Scored. This option awards a higher ranking to teams who's opponents have scored fewer points. For example, if Franchise A allowed 100 total points year-to-date, and Franchise B allowed 110 total points year-to-date, Franchise A would be ranked higher than Franchise B for this sort criteria. This too should never be used as a primary sort.
Conference Winning Percentage. (Only displayed if league has conferences defined in General League Setup). Same as Overall Winning %, but restricts sort to teams in each conference.
Divisional Winning Percentage. (Only displayed if league has conferences defined in General League Setup). Same as Overall Winning %, but restricts sort to teams in each division.
Power Rank. This advanced level ranking system offers an alternate way to compare franchises. Please see the Power Rank report for an explanation of how this number is calculated.
Victory Points. Another advanced level ranking offering more flexibility based on the victory points setup for your league.
Last Week's Point Total - To allow commissioners to sort the league standings report based on the franchise score of the most recently completed week of the season.
When finished, you MUST click on the Save Standings Setup button in order to apply your changes.

Answer: This report shows the standings at any week of the season. Use the top weekly listing to change to another week in the season. The following abbreviations are used on this report:
Icon & Name - display both a franchise's icon and name.
Icon - only display a franchise icon (without a name).

Custom Columns - use these optional columns for league-specific data that you need to track on the standings report. Define either or both of these column heading using the Standings Setup
screen. Update the values for these columns using the Standings Adjuster

W/L/T - win, loss, or tie columns
W-L-T - single column combined data for overall record.
Pct - overall winning percentage
Div W/Div L/ Div T - divisional win, loss, or tie columns

Div Pct - divisional winning percentage
Div PF - divisional points for (total YTD points scores only in divisional fantasy matchups).
Conf W/Div L/ Div T - conference win, loss, or tie columns

GB - games back of team in first place
Strk - current winning/losing streak
PF - year-to-date total points scored by this team (points for)
Avg PF - the above number, divided by the total number of games played.
Min/Max PF - the lowest and highest number of points a given team has scored in a week.
PA - year-to-date total points scored by opponents of this team (points against)
Avg PA - the above number, divided by the total number of games played.
Min/Max PA - the lowest and highest number of points scored against a given team in a week.
PP - potential points. The maximum number of points a team could have achieved, assuming that they had started all of their top-scoring players
Eff - the efficiency rating. Total Points (PF) divided by Potential Points (PP). In other words, the total points the franchise did score, divided by the total points the franchise could have scored if they had started their best possible lineup each week of the season, expressed as a percentage.
BBid $ Spent - the amount of money that a team has already spent on blind bids.
BBid $ Bal - the amount of money that a given team can still spend on blind bidding.
Non-Div W/Non-Div L/Non-Div T - individual columns for wins, losses, and ties for non-divisional games.
Non-Div W-L-T - single column combined data for non-divisional record.
Non-Div Pct - winning percentage for out-of-division games.
Non-Conf W/Non-Conf L/Non-Conf T - individual columns for wins, losses, and ties for non-conference games.
Non-Conf W-L-T - single column combined data for non-conference record.
Non-Conf Pct - winning percentage for out-of-conference games.
PB - points back.
OP/DP - offensive point/defensive points. The sum total of all starting players on offense and/or defense for a given franchise for all weeks of the season.
PWR - the power rank of each franchise.
Acct Bal - the individual franchise YTD accounting balance.
Salary - the total salary for a franchise (used in salary cap-enabled leagues).
VP - victory points.
WW - waiver wire order.
#W - Year to Date Waiver moves. In order for waiver moves to be tracked a limit must be defined on the Waivers/FA Setup.

screen to display/hide and order columns.

Answer: This report contains the summary of fantasy team points for the entire season to date. The top part of the report displays each team against each week in the season coming together at the team's weekly point score. It also highlights the high and low point scoring team for each week and sums up the YTD points. Below this table is a listing of the week-by-week point totals for each team, along with the league-wide average for each week, making it easy to determine the top-to-bottom ranking for your league each week. Each franchises' weekly point total can be clicked on to drill down into their actual starter points for that week. In addition, this report contains the weekly and seasonal average point scores.
Points Filter - Specify "Total Points" (the default), "Potential Points", "Offensive Points", or "Defensive Points".
Weekly Summary As Of Week - Click on any of the links for previous week in the season to view this report for any past week. This can be used, for example, to view a league's point totals prior to fantasy playoffs.

Answer: This report lists the standings and waiver wire (alternate using the Standings & Waivers links) sort criteria that your league uses, as well as all values for each franchise for those sort criteria, and displays franchises in that sort order. Mouse-over any value in the "Head-To-Head Record" for a given franchise to view exactly which matchups (if any) were used to calculate the value.
NOTE: Standings tiebreakers are determined on a division or conference basis (when divisions or conferences are used) whereas Waivers tiebreakers are determined on a league-wide basis.

Answer: Use this screen to define which columns and in which order the system should display for your Standings report.
Available Columns - This is the list of columns of data that your league can display on the Standings report.
Current Columns - This is the list of columns your league is set to display on the Standings report.
Add To List - Select an item from the Available Columns list and click this button to move the item to the Current Columns field to appear in the Standings
report.
Remove From List - Select an item from the Current Columns list and click this button to move the item back to the Available Columns field to remove it from appearing in the Standings report.
Move Up - Click on this button to move the currently selected (highlighted) item from the Current Columns field up by one position (one column to the left) in the order.
Move Down - Click on this button to move the currently selected (highlighted) item from the Current Columns field down by one position (one column to the right) in the order.
NOTE: The available columns are based on your league settings. Conference and divisional items will only be available if the corresponding General League Setup

| 25. | How do I use the Recalculate Standings page?
Answer: This menu option should not typically be used as the system is highly automated. However, any time a commissioner changes a starting lineup after the site has computed scores, this option must be run. In addition, you can use this screen to revert scores back to a previous week. If you do this, you'll most likely need to then use it again for all subsequent weeks through the present time to restore the entire YTD data.
In order to use this option, simply select a week by number from the pull-down list box. Only weeks that have been completed (and had the final calculation run) will appear in this list.

Answer: For the vast majority of leagues, the site's existing standings sort criteria (available on the Standings Setup screen) will automatically sort your league's standings as needed so this screen will not be necessary. However, for leagues that do need to adjust the standings manually to support a custom sort order, use this list of franchise names to override any current standings order specified on Standings Setup screen for the order used on the Standings Report.
NOTE: A defined custom sort order will remain in effect until it is manually deleted (from this same screen using the Delete Custom Standings Order link). If you use this custom order for one week, be certain to remove (or update) it for the subsequent week as needed.
When finished, you MUST click on the Save Custom Standings Order button in order to apply your changes.

| 27. | How do I use the Break Ties page?
Answer: This item only appears when the General Scoring Setup option was set to require that the commissioner manually break ties. Once the final standings have been computed for the week on Monday night (shortly after the MNF game), the commissioner can use this screen to break the tie without changing either team's fantasy point value.
When finished, you MUST click on the Break Ties button in order to apply your changes.
