| 1. | Why can't I see some of the NFL players in the free agent lists? Answer: The most common reasons for this are:
1. Does your league waiver rules indicate that a player should be "locked" when he is dropped from a roster for a period of time? If so, check the Reports > Players >Locked Players report, and you'll most likely see the players listed there, and if you're logged on as the league commissioner at the time, you'll be able to "unlock" those players.
2. If the player is an NFL free agent, check the "Display NFL Free Agents" setting on the For Commissioners > Setup > Reports & Other Settings page - the default for that option is "No", preventing owners from picking up NFL free agents, but you can turn that to "Yes" if you'd like to allow owners in your league to pick up NFL free agents.
3. The player is currently on a Roster. You can view the Reports > Franchise >Rosters report or use the Reports > Players >Player Search to enter the name of the player in question and view his current status.

| 2. | Can a non-drafted rookie be added to the list of players in the official MFL player's database? Answer: Since the vast majority of non-drafted Free Agents (including supplemental draft players) never make the final cuts, we generally only add non-drafted Free Agents in the off-season if they make the #1 or #2 spot on an official depth chart (#1 for Kickers and Punters) or they make an official 53-man roster in early September. Your league's commissioner can add up to 200 custom players using the Enter Custom Players screen, but these players will not correspond to our copy of them if they are added in the future. As a general rule, it's best to wait until August/September to see if we ultimately add any players you desire.
If you would like to see this player in your league now, your league commissioner can use the Custom Players screen to add him to your league for now.

| 3. | Here in the pre-season, I see a player listed on the Top Performers report with his 2012 NFL team listed, and not his correct 2013 NFL team - why? Answer: Before week 1, your top performers report shows 2001 (and 2011) top performers data based on your current scoring system. This data includes not only actual 2012 player performances, but also actual 2012 (and not 2001) NFL teams for the players listed there.
All other league reports show 2001 player information, with their 2001 NFL team affiliation.

| 5. | What happens when one of our custom players (ie., a college rookie) gets drafted in the NFL? Does our custom player automatically update? Answer: A rookie will be added to our master player database once drafted or upon making the 53-man cut. If you've already added that player to your league as a custom player, you will need to do the following:
- Drop custom player from the franchise roster.
- Use the Enter Custom Players screen to "Hide" (click on the link corresponding the player) the custom player from reports.
- Add the site copy of the player to the franchise roster.

| 6. | Why is a player listed at the wrong position? Answer: We use Rotoworld.com as our official source for all player positions. While we have full confidence in their classification of players, some players (especially defensive players) play at multiple positions, making classification more difficult.
We synchronize our player positions to match the Rotoworld.com depth charts during the preseason. Then after the season starts, we generally don't make site-wide position changes, so it is up to your league commissioner to decide how to handle position changes after the season starts.
Regardless of how Rotoworld.com has a player position listed, the commissioner can use the For Commissioners > Setup > Players and Rosters > Change Player Position option to over-ride any of our default positions with positions that you think are more appropriate for your league.

| 7. | How do I denote the Restricted Free Agents for our league, For instance put RFA after their name? Answer: First you must enable salary tracking in the For Commissioner > Setup > General League Setup.
Then, specify the RFA designation in the “Other Contract Information” field found under the For Commissioner > Setup > Enter Players Salaries/Contracts. The Restricted Free Agent information will then appear on the Reports > Franchise > Rosters report.

| 8. | How do I Change a Players Position? Answer: Have your commissioner go to the For Commissioner > Setup Change Player Position screen to change the position for any player for your individual league. Once changed, the player will only receive fantasy points based on the scoring rules defined for his new position.
If you wish to allow your owners to be able to change the players' position you can enable the option "Allow owners to change the position of these players back and forth between the MyFantasyLeague.com default position and your custom position." on the For Commissioner > Setup Change Player Position.
Owners will then be able to go to the For Owners Change My Player Position to adjust the position of their player.

| 9. | How do I add a player? Answer: Hopefully there is no need for you to add a player as we update our player's database weekly during the offseason and daily during the season. For the complete list of players in our system, click here: Player Listing
If you find a non-drafted rookie or other player that you feel should be listed in our player database, please contact us via our online support form. If you still need to add a player for your league, you can use the For Commissioner > Setup Enter Custom Players screen, but these players will not correspond to our copy of them if they are added in the future. Any custom added players will also require you to manually add in their fantasy points each week.

| 10. | How does MFL deal with official player position changes? Answer: We use Rotoworld.com depth charts as our official source for player positions:
http://www.rotoworld.com/teams/depth-charts/nfl.aspx
Any changes that Rotoworld.com makes to our player positions will be displayed in your Player Position Changes site news located under the Help > What's New Link. We update the player positions about once a month during the preseason, with our last update just before the regular season starts.
If a player position change is made that you or your league disagrees with, then the commissioner can always override the default player position via the Change Player Position page. This is the best option for your league during the regular season, because we generally do not make site-wide player position updates during the season.

| 11. | How do I Use KR’s & FB’s in our League? Answer: Each player can be at only one position per week. If your league uses separate KR (or FB) positions, then you'll need to do the following:
- Go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Starting Lineup Setup screen to enable the KR (or FB) position and specify the corresponding minimum and maximum starters.
- Go to the For Commissioner > Setup Change Player Position screen for each player to update their original position to the new position.
Note that once changed, the player will only receive points for his new position. If you prefer to have the player receive points for both the original (ie, WR) position *and* the new (ie, KR) position, then instead, add the KR-type scoring categories such as Number of Kick Return TDs, Number of Punt Return TDs, etc. to the WR position's scoring rule set.

| 12. | I changed a player from a WR to a KR mid season, where are his WR stats? Answer: Historical stats on the Top Performers report will only appear for the current position. Therefore if the player is changed to a KR mid season, KR stats will only appear for that player, not WR stats.

| 15. | How do I use the For Owners > My Watch List page? Answer: The "My Watch List" page allows you to track players that may or may not be on your roster who you're interested in keeping closer tabs on. You can add or remove players to this list by visiting the player's player information report, or from the "My Watch List" page itself. Your "My Watch List" is also available as a home page module.
Your "My Watch List" player listing shows you the player's current status, as well as their year-to-date total fantasy points. No other owner can see your "My Watch List" player listing.

| 16. | Why are there retired guys listed on the list of available players? Answer: We operate many leagues on a year-round basis, as well as many leagues with very, very, large rosters. Players who might have retired within the last year or so, might have been added/dropped/traded in the NFL pre-season, and appear on transaction reports, or are still of interest to some leagues, so we must keep these players listed. If you do not wish to see those players listed, you can turn this off via the "Display NFL Free Agents on Fantasy Free Agent Lists?" option on the Reports & Other Settings setup page.

| 17. | How do I use the Enter Custom Players page? Answer: This screen allows a commissioner to enter up to 200 custom players for their league. some leagues might want to use these slots for things like college players, or any other players that we do not have in our database that an owner in you league would like to acquire.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
| 1. | Please double-check our master player database list
to be certain that the player you're looking for is not already listed in our player database. |
| 2. | This feature should only be used for players that are not currently on an NFL Team's 53-man roster. For example, you can use this to enter the name of a college player, but you should never use this feature to enter a player that has been recently signed with an NFL team's 53-man roster, as he will most likely be added to our master player database shortly. If you have any doubt whether or not you should manually enter a player into the system, please contact us
before entering the player. |
| 3. | Custom players will never, under any circumstances be scored automatically by the system. Once a player is active in the NFL, he will be added to our master player database, and that player (not your custom-entered player, even if their names are identical) will be scored automatically at that point. |
| 4. | Once a custom player has been entered into the system, he may never be removed by you, in order that the integrity of all historical reports be maintained. However, a custom player's NFL team and position may be changed and you can hide a custom player in your league. |
| 5. | For full details on our policies regarding adding players to our master player database, please read our Players on-line help (Help > Help Center, NFL Players category). |
| 6. | All players entered via this page will be displayed on your league pages with an asterisk (*) next to their names. |
Disclaimer Checkbox - You MUST check this box in order to add a new player or change the team/position of an already-created custom player.
Last Name - Enter in only the player's last name into this field.
NOTE: Some player names such as Olandis Gary are often reversed incorrectly. Be sure to verify that the player you want to add is not already in our database.
First Name - Enter in the player's first name.
Team - Use the pull-down list to select either "FA" (for free agent, the default) or the pro team associated with the player.
Position - Select the player's correct position. Only league-defined positions will appear in the list. Go to the Starting Lineups Setup
screen to enable additional non-team (OT, ST, DT) positions.

Hide - Use this option to remove the player from reports. He will still be in the database, but this is the preferred way to switch from a league's custom player to the site's official version of a player.
When finished, you MUST click on the Save Custom Players button in order to add the player(s).

| 18. | How do I use the Change Player Position page? Answer: Use this screen to change the position of an existing, system-defined player. This feature may be helpful for players who at times line up at different positions. Only one player may be changed at a time using this screen. You should NEVER use this screen to enforce a league rule. For example, do not change all TEs to WRs because your league combines the two positions. Instead, use the WR+TE position in the Starting Lineup Setup screen.
Select A Player - Use this list box to scroll through the existing players and select the player to change.
NOTE: Only system players' positions may be changed here. If you want to change the position of a custom player that you have added, go to the Enter Custom Players screen.
Change Player's Position To - Select the player's new position. Only league-defined, individual positions will appear in the list. Go to the Starting Lineups Setup screen to enable additional non-team (OT, ST, DT) positions.
The bottom of this page details all of the current custom player positions you've entered for your league.
When finished, you MUST click on the Change Player Position button in order to make the change.
