With this performance, Manning was the number 3 ranked quarterback for week 17. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Tiki Barber, who got by the Jaguars defense for 78 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 35 receiving yards.

"It's tough to win in a hostile environment," Carbon Rods coach Anthony Edmunds said.

Yakima Raiders were helped out in a losing cause by a 35 point effort from Ahman Green, who snuck past the Buccaneers defense for 74 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 78 receiving yards. With this performance, Green was the number 2 ranked running back for week 17. They also got help from a 29 point effort from Edgerrin James, who beat the Vikings defense for 128 rushing yards in addition to 79 receiving yards.

"Not to take away anything from our opponents, but we didn't play like we're capable of playing," Yakima Raiders coach Jim Conner said.

Adding salt to the wound, Yakima Raiders could have scored 139 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jim Conner left key players like Kyle Brady and his corresponding 14 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Carbon Rods to 9-8, and drops Yakima Raiders to a record of 10-7.
