| 1. | Where do I find projected scores on MyFantasyLeague.com? Answer: You can find projected scores in several places on your league web site, including:
1 ) The Reports > Franchise > Projected Scores report.
2 ) Each individual owner can go to their own For Owners > Submit Lineup
page, and see projected scores for their entire roster. To see detailed projected points they can click the link to the "Fantasy Sharks Lineup Coach"
3 ) The "My Matchup Chart" home page module, available on the Home Page Modules & Tabs Setup page, will show projected scores for all franchises for the upcoming weekly games 24 hours before the start of the week. Note that up until 24 hours before kickoff, the "My Matchup Chart" will display the prior week's actual results.
4 ) You can see projected scores for free agents on the Full Free Agent Listing page.
If you don't see #1 or #2 above, that means that the "Show Links To Various Third-Party (FantasySharks and FootballGuys) Tools?" setting on the Reports & Other Settings page has been set to "No" - changing that back to "Yes" will allow owners to view these projected points.
Note that projected scores will be updated 1-2 days before kickoff of the first game of the week.

| 2. | How are fantasy point spreads calculated? (Or, what is that negative number I see next to upcoming fantasy matchups?) Answer: That number is the fantasy point spread. A negative number indicates how many points that team is expected to win by.
To calculate the point spread, the system calculates the "expected scores" for the two teams involved in the matchup. The expected score can be calculated in one of many ways.
- If the franchise has submitted a lineup for the week in question, and FantasySharks.com has released their weekly stats projections (which typically happens on Wedensdays), and your league has opted to see those projections, the system will add up the projected points for all players in that franchise's starting lineup.
- If the franchise has submitted a lineup for the week in question, and either FantasySharks.com has not released their weekly stat projections for the week in question, or, your league has opted to not see those projections, the system adds up the average year-to-date scores for all players in that franchise's starting lineup to arrive at the franchise's "expected score".
- If the franchise has not yet submitted a lineup for the week in question, the system uses the year-to-date average weekly score for that franchise to arrive at that franchise's "expected score".
The point spread is the difference between the two franchise expected scores.
Since point spreads are calculated based on past franchise or player performances, no point spreads are displayed for week 1 matchups.

| 3. | How do projected scores for individual defensive players work? (Or, why aren't there any projected scores for IDPs for week 1?) Answer: Projected stats for individual defensive players is a very (very!) inexact science. The way we've decided to tackle (pardon the pun!) this problem for now is to simply average key stats (tackles, assists and forced fumbles) for IDP players for the prior weeks, up to a maximum of the three most recent weeks, to arrive at projected scores for IDP players for the current week. So that means there cannot be projected stats for week 1 of the NFL season, because there are no prior weeks to average.

| 4. | Can you explain the "Who Do I Start?" report to me? Answer: The "Who Do I Start?" report represents lineup decisions made by all MyFantasyLeague.com customers who have to make similar lineup decisions as you do. For example, here's a line from a "Who Do I Start?" report:
Should Start: McCoy, LeSean PHI RB
Should Bench: Jones-Drew, Maurice JAC RB
PCt: 92.9%
Count: 56
Read in English, that means: Of the 56 franchises that have submitted a lineup where they need to make a decision between starting McCoy and Jones-Drew, 92.9% of the people started McCoy over Jones-Drew, and only 7.1% chose Jones-Drew over McCoy.
Basically, this report is a "wisdom of the crowds" report, giving you some insight into the lineup decisions that other customers on our site are making.

| 5. | Why aren't projected points for next week correct? | 6. | How do I use the Franchise Information page? Answer: The franchise information report will show you all details about the selected franchises, including: Franchise name, owner name, phone/fax contact information, franchise URL, franchise logo, franchise owner email address, division and conference, current roster, transaction history, and league fees accumulated year-to-date, among other information. Note that personally identifying information, such as email address, phone/fax numbers, etc., will only be display to people who are logged into your league, for privacy reasons. Leagues that limit waivers on a per-week and/or per-season basis also have the corresponding totals displayed.
This report also contains a 'My Options' section.
| • | If you're logged in as an owner, and see that 'My Options' row for your own franchise, it will have links to do all things that are currently under the 'For Owners' menu. |
| • | If you're logged in as an owner, and see that 'My Options' row for another franchise, it will have a link to propose a trade with that other franchise. |
| • | If you're logged in as a commissioner, the 'My Options' row will contain all options under the 'For Owners' menu for each franchise. This also has the added benefit for the commissioner to allow management of just one franchise at a time if using the new, javascript menus. For example, if the commissioner went to the 'My Options' row for franchise #1 and clicked on basic franchise setup, he could just change the franchise setup parameters and email the password to that owner for only that one franchise (rather than all franchises if he used the basic franchise setup option under the 'For Owners' menu). |
