| 1. | How do I enter the Live Draft Room? Answer: At the start of the season you can enter your Live Draft Room by going to the For Owners > Live Draft Room or by going to the For Owners >Draft and you can click the link to "Enter Live Draft Room".
Once the season has begun, the options for drafting found under the For Owners menu are removed. You will need to access this by going to the Reports > Franchise > Franchise Information (or click on your Franchise Name on any screen to take you to your franchise information). Here you can click the "Make a Draft or Pre-draft Pick" link, which will allow you to enter the Live Draft Room.
Note, in order for these options to appear the commissioner must enable the option for an On-line, live draft that happens all at once, taking a matter of hours to complete on the For Commissioner > Setup > General League Setup screen.

| 2. | How do I Start My Live Draft? Answer: To start a Live draft the owners must enter the Live Draft Room found either from the For Owners > Live Draft Room or the link on the For Owners > Draft screen. The timer will not begin, and therefore the draft, until the first selection is made.
The same will apply to an email draft. The first pick must also be made by the first owner in order to begin the draft.
If the franchise that has the first pick is unable to make be involved in the draft it will be necessary for them to Pre-draft the first pick so that the draft can begin. That pre-draft pick will then be selected as soon as the Draft Start Date/Time has been reached. You will also need to have the Draft Timer turned on in order for this pick to be taken.

| 3. | Why can't I see some of the NFL Players in the draft list to pick? Answer: If you are in the Live Draft Room, making a Draft Pick or Setting up your MyDraftList you will need to make sure that you have selected the "Alphabetical" list to view all players in the list, not just those based on the ADP report.
If you have enabled the Alphabetical Report and still cannot find a player then please see the following for other common reasons:
1. If the player is an NFL free agent, check the "Display NFL Free Agents" setting on the For Commissioners > Setup > Reports & Other Settings page - the default for that option is "No", preventing owners from picking up NFL free agents, but you can turn that to "Yes" if you'd like to allow owners in your league to pick up NFL free agents.
2. Does your league waiver rules indicate that a player should be "locked" when he is dropped from a roster for a period of time? If so, check the Reports > Players >Locked Players report, and you'll most likely see the players listed there, and if you're logged on as the league commissioner at the time, you'll be able to "unlock" those players.
3. The player is currently on a Roster. You can view the Reports > Franchise >Rosters report or use the Reports > Players >Player Search to enter the name of the player in question and view his current status.

| 4. | How should more than one owner at a single computer draft using MFL's live draft room? Answer: If there will be two different franchise owners at one computer during a live draft, you might be tempted to let each owner "take turns" at the computer, logging on and logging off of the site between picks. We strongly discourage you from taking this approach, as it will lead to a lot of confusion and delays in your draft. Instead, we recommend installing two (or more) different web browsers on the computer - then, one owner can remain logged into the site using each browser, so they only need to take turns at the keyboard, and they will not continually log in and log out of the site when it's their turn to pick. You can download the most recent (and still free) version of a second web browser following the instructions on this page.
If a majority of franchise owners are at one computer with a few located elsewhere AND an online MFL draft has been defined, have the commissioner login to make all the picks for the group of owners. Otherwise, the constant login-pick-logout for each team would be too cumbersome and interfere with your online draft.

| 5. | How do I Restart My Draft? Answer: If your draft is currently in process then you can restart your draft or revert it to a previous round/pick. Go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Revert Draft and set it to Round 1, Pick 1 to restart your draft completely.
If you are wishing to revert your draft to an earlier pick simply choose the Round and Pick from the drop down boxes that you wish to revert your draft back to.
By default, the "Drop Players from Rosters" option is enabled when reverting your draft.
NOTE: You will not use this option for Multiple-Drafts. If your league conducts multiple drafts you will use the Setup > Archive Draft option.

| 7. | How do I Change/Fix a Draft Pick? Answer: For an Email Draft:
If this occurred at the prior pick then you can go to your For Commissioner > Setup > Revert Draft and revert the draft to the Round and Pick in which there was an error.
Alternately, if this happened at a previous round (and you have had several picks since that round) you would want to use the For Commissioner > Setup > Change Draft Pick screen to replace the player.
In a MFL Live Draft:
If this just happened at the prior pick then you can use your options as Commissioner on the Live Draft Page under Commissioner Controls to Undo Last Pick.
Alternately, if this occurred at a previous pick you can use the Change Pick option under the Commissioner Controls in the Live Draft Room. Please see the MFL Live Draft...How To for further details.

| 8. | The draft timer expired on someone. How can they make up their pick? Answer: The preferred way to handle this is for the commissioner to use the Change Draft Pick screen to manually define the pick. The commissioner can also revert the draft using the Revert Draft screen, but this will undo any picks made after the expired pick (requiring the subsequent picks to be re-entered). When the pick gets made up, and what player can be selected, is strictly up to your league rules.
You may choose the "Allow the system to automatically pick a player for the owner based the highest-ranked available player according to rankings displayed on the ADP page " option on your General Draft & Timer Setup page.

| 9. | If our timer is suspended in an email draft can an owner make and receive a pick in that time? Answer: Yes, the owner can make a pick and it will register as soon as he makes it, but the timer for the next pick will not resume until the timer suspension is over.

| 11. | Why did the draft not automatically start when it was supposed to according to the League Calendar? Answer: For a MFL Live Draft the timer will not automatically start running until the owner with the first pick either makes their pick or pre-drafts their pick. This allows all owners to be able to access the room by the start time and prevents any picks from being made prior to the time defined in the Setup > Draft Start Date/Time.
If you have had an owner try to make the first pick after the start time and they were not allowed, please check your League Calendar to ensure that you have defined the "Draft" start time and not a Custom Defined Event.

| 12. | Can I trade a draft pick during the draft? Answer: Yes, if your league allows trading on the Setup > Abilities Setup then owners can make trades of draft picks during the draft. Owners will use the Trades to perform these trades.
On-the-clock picks can also be traded, but the new owner of the pick does not get a new clock - it continues to count down from the previous pick.
Additionally, the live draft room does not automatically update to reflect the traded picks. Owners will have to refresh the draft room (F5) to see the updated picks.

| 13. | We're in an email Draft and owners are not getting informed when a team picks and their turn is next - why? Answer: Make sure that in the Franchise Setup - Contact Info owners have chosen to receive "Draft Status Updates" for emails.
Also make sure that you have chosen an "Email Draft" and not an "MFL Live Draft" on the Setup > General League Setup screen.

| 14. | How do I use the Change Draft Pick page? Answer: This draft setup screen offers the commissioner the ability to alter an already-drafted player. This screen is typically better suited for (1) franchises that have had their pick skipped AND the league allows them to make up the pick at any subsequent time, and (2) franchises that need a past pick changed that is more than one pick previous.
For leagues that need to change the last pick, it might be easier for the commissioner to use the Revert Draft screen to revert the league's draft by a single pick. A changed draft pick will include the text "Replacement pick made by Commissioner" in the comments column of the draft report.
When finished, you MUST click on the Change Draft Pick button to apply your change.

| 15. | How do I use the Revert Draft page? Answer: This screen is only available if your league has defined an online draft in General League Setup. Use this option to return a draft to a previous position, thus dropping all the draft players back to that point in the draft.
NOTE: Reverting a draft is an operation that cannot be undone.
Round - Select the round in which the draft should be reverted.
Pick - Select the specific pick (in the above round) in which the draft should be reverted.
Drop Players From Rosters When Reverting Draft - When reverting the draft you may choose to drop the players drafted from their rosters.
When finished, you MUST click on the Now! button to revert your draft to a prior position in the draft.
